Mayflower Enterprises is thrilled to announce its partnership with Project Fire Buddies (PFB) for the 2024 Labor of Love Fundraiser. This event, scheduled for last Saturday, July 20, was a heartwarming occasion dedicated to supporting children facing critical illnesses and their families.

Project Fire Buddies has been a beacon of hope and joy for these brave young souls. The organization’s chapters build meaningful relationships with "Fire Buddies" by visiting them at home in vibrant parades of fire vehicles, complete with lights and sirens. These visits bring more than just cheer—they include birthday and holiday gifts, games, tickets to special events, and attendance at significant moments in the children’s lives. Fire Buddies also enjoy unique experiences like dinners at the firehouse, station tours, and close-up views of the fire trucks.

The essence of PFB’s mission is to brighten these children's days through fun and laughter. Whether playing catch, teaching a child to ride a bike, reading a favorite story, or sharing a whipped cream pie in a round of Pie Face, the team is dedicated to making each visit memorable and uplifting.

The impact of Project Fire Buddies has been extraordinary. From 2023 to 2024, the organization saw an impressive 500% growth, reflecting the increasing number of chapters committed to spreading joy and support to even more children.

Mayflower Enterprises is proud to support PFB through the Labor of Love fundraiser, where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to helping critically ill children and their families.
